2017 Solo and Small Firm Conference

Thursday, June 22 - Saturday, June 24, 2017

On-Line Registration is now closed.
Walk-ins will be accepted at the door.

The 2017 OBA Solo and Small Firm Conference at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant is designed with the Oklahoma solo and small firm lawyer in mind. It is a family-friendly event with four movie theaters showing first-run movies and stadium seating, a bowling alley, a laser tag venue and more. We have scheduled special children’s activities to keep children occupied while parents are attending CLE. Our theme is “Design Your Flexible Law Practice” and our special guest, Catherine Reach, will teach several law office technology-based presentations including teaming with OBA-MAP Director Jim Calloway for “The Flexible Law Firm” and “60 Tips in 60 Minutes.”  A special feature this year is Oklahoma’s trial of the century track featuring Bob Burke, retired Supreme Court Justice Steven W. Taylor and many others who participated in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing trial. The conference will feature both musical and magical entertainment and 12 hours of MCLE credit, including one hour of ethics on either trust accounting or the ethics of attorney-client agreements and engagement letters.
